How you will contribute
You will:
- Work in close partnership with the business leadership team to execute the analytics agenda
- Identify and incubate best-in-class external partners to drive delivery on strategic projects
- Develop custom models/algorithms to uncover signals/patterns and trends to drive long-term business performance
- Execute the business analytics program agenda using a methodical approach that conveys to stakeholders what business analytics will deliver

IN THIS ROLE
In this role , y ou will have the opportunity to lead the development of a cutting-edge Retail Execution and Analytics solution that provides localized recommendations across US stores . You will play an instrumental part in owning the technical functionality of the initiative , leading data architects , data scientists and engineers to drive the overall US Retail solution while collaborating with business teams and stakeholders . You will be responsible for enabling Store Potential, Suggested Actions, Next Best Display, Perfect Store, Scheduling, Guided Selling and other solutions in Retail domain in North America .
WHAT THIS TEAM AND ROLE DOES
Our team is at the forefront of driving AI, data, and analytics across Mondelez. As a Business Analyst within the Mondelez Data & Analytics team, you will oversee the team as they work towards the following objectives :
- Build Suggested Actions and Perfect Store solution s that use ML & AI models to provide tailored store recommendations on Next Best Display, Shelving, Suggested Order and A ssortment for each Store .
- Predict the ideal product assortment for store clusters by leveraging diverse data sources on store characteristics, regional nuances, and shopper demographics.
- Pilot and test the Suggested Actions solution and expand it to the entire store base, iterating the solution and models based on feedback .
- Lead the data science and engineering team s end-to-end in developing the ML & AI models to predict store recommendations while ensuring business performance and iterating based on test learnings.

- Experience leading technical teams and collaborating with stakeholders between business and data functions .
- Passion for using data and AI to drive business growth and be comfortable working with data in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced setting .
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to facilitate effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement , explaining complex data concep ts to non-technical individual s.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Utilize market and industry knowledge to translate user needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements for their team. Maintain a prioritized backlog, staying multiple sprints ahead of the team .
- Oversee the day-to-day technical development of the solution, creating strong alignment in the working team to achieve goals. Validate the weekly progress of the technical teams and lead business user tests, ensuring product quality before the product gets into the hands of the internal customer.
- Define critical metrics that determine the success of your products and develop a deep understanding of your product s performance. Set detailed planning per initiative and help resolve any arising bottlenecks.
- Lead iterative testing phases of the solution, incorporating feedback and ensuring continuous learning for solution enhancement.
- Integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction and ensure customer-driven design.
SPECIFIC SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Bachelor s degree in I nformation S ystems /Technology , Business Analytics, or a related field .
- 5+ y ears of Product Development experience (acting as Business Analyst or Product Owner ) or 3+ years working in CPG Retail , preferably US ( Perfect Store, Displays, Shelving, Scheduling, Guided Selling ); having made strategic decisions for retail teams is preferred.
- Able to thrive in uncertainty and comfortable with a high degree of ownership and bias for action.
- Highly proficient in Excel , PowerPoint , SQL and deep understanding of AI/ML/ GenAI .
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience working closely with engineering team s.
- Strong technical proficiency/quantitative background delivering data and analytics projects .
- Deep knowledge of AI/data principles (e.g., ML algorithm selection , data architecture principles, familiarity with cloud technologies, etc. ) .
- Experience in setting up and monitoring AI models in production .
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g . , ceremonies, writing user stories) .
GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Masters degree or higher in a relevant field, such as Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning.
- Experience delivering transformational projects with solid change management requirements .
- Certifications in project management, such as PMP or Scrum Master.
- Working knowledge of syndicated data (Nielsen/IRI or other EPOS/Retail Sales data source; Kantar/GFK or another household panel source ) and Retail data (Salesforce, ePOS ).
- Knowledge programming languages (e.g., Python).
- Familiarity with privacy regulations and best practices in data management, especially in the context of AI solutions.
- Passion for technology and wanting to stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
