Role & responsibilities

1. Student Counselling & Emotional Support

• Provide individual and group counselling to students facing academic, emotional, or behavioural challenges.
• Address anxiety, stress, peer pressure, bullying, and self-esteem issues among students.
• Develop intervention plans and coping strategies to improve students' mental well-being.

2. Academic & Career Guidance

• Assist students in identifying their strengths and interests for subject selection and career planning.
• Conduct workshops on exam stress management, time management, and study skills.
• Guide students on higher education options, entrance exams, and scholarship opportunities.

3. Awareness Programs & Workshops

• Organize life skills, emotional intelligence, and personal development sessions.
• Conduct workshops on cyber safety, mental health awareness, and social skills development.
• Engage with parents and teachers to create a supportive learning environment.

4. Collaboration with Teachers & Parents

• Work closely with teachers to identify and support students with learning difficulties.
• Conduct parent counseling sessions to discuss students' academic and behavioural progress.
• Provide guidance to teachers on handling classroom behavioral issues.

5. Conflict Resolution & Student Well-being

• Address issues related to student conflicts, peer interactions, and classroom discipline.
• Implement school-wide initiatives for anti-bullying, self-confidence building, and emotional resilience.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical practices in counseling sessions.
