Network Administrator - Palo Alto Firewall (6-9 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, providing L3 support for routing, switching, and firewalls.

- Configure and manage firewalls, including Palo Alto Networks (PAN), FortiGate, or Meraki.

- Collaborate with L2 Network Engineers to resolve escalated issues and implement solutions.

- Monitor network performance and security, implementing necessary changes to maintain high availability.

- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting processes for future reference.

- Assist in network planning and deployment of new solutions or upgrades.

Skills Required :

- Minimum 2 years of experience as an L2 Network Engineer and 1 year as a Network L3 Engineer.

- Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, etc.).

- Hands-on experience with firewalls, specifically Palo Alto Networks (PAN), FortiGate, or Meraki.

- Proficiency in network configuration, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.

- Familiarity with network security best practices and methodologies.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, etc.) are a plus.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
