Job Title: Embedded Test Engineer - Automation Testing (Python)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Embedded Test Engineer with expertise in automation testing using Python. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems testing and hands-on experience with frameworks like Robot Framework or Cucumber. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure the robustness and reliability of embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases for embedded systems using Python.
• Design and implement test frameworks using tools like Robot Framework or Cucumber.
• Collaborate closely with embedded software developers to understand requirements and design test strategies.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing of embedded systems.
• Analyse test results, debug issues, and provide detailed defect reports.
• Ensure test coverage for all system components, including hardware interfaces and software modules.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Work in Agile/Scrum teams and actively participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 9+ years of experience in embedded systems testing and test automation.
• Proficiency in Python for developing automation scripts.
• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework or Cucumber for automation testing.
• Solid understanding of embedded systems architecture and hardware-software interactions.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with hardware testing or real-time systems
• Experience working log analyzing tools such as DLT.

Good to have:

• Prior manual testing or automation testing experience in automative domain.
• Exposure to AWS Cloud
