Duties and Responsibilities:
Maximizing overall coding performance. Creating Coding Panels in coding Software, Identifies & resolves the more complex issues around pending transactions
Directs the accurate & timely processing of claims to meet or exceed client service level agreements
Review quality audit of accounts/ Claims
Works with the team to complete assignments using established guidelines, policies and procedures.
Daily Denials should be worked & A timeline to achieve targets.
Able to review NCD/LCD policies per county, sequencing for Medical Necessity to get higher reimbursement.
Delegating tasks per Client.
Coordinate with LAB Team Leaders regarding the billing clarifications.
Willingness to work on flexible shifts mostly EST timings.
Qualifications
Certification is mandatory From AAPC / AHIMA
3-4+ yrs of work experience in coding Pathology and laboratory procedures.
Must possess the knowledge in coding Organ or Disease Oriented Panels, Therapeutic Drug Assays, Drug Assay Procedures, Evocative/Suppression Testing Procedures.
Exposure to Modifiers, CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding with LAB fee schedule.
Ability to multitask, prioritize & manage time efficiently.
