Coordination & Queue Management for the patients coming in OPD.
Coordinating & Assisting patients for the paper work/formalities to be completed while admission and during stay in the hospital & discharge.
Follow-up with the patients whenever required.
Liasioning with all the departments e.g. Front Office/Billing/TPA Desk Nursing Etc. for all the patient coming to OPD & IPD whenever required.
Taking dictation and to transcribe.
Maintaining filing system in the Office.
Maintaining record of the Appointments of the department.
Sorting out routine correspondence independently.
Carrying out follow up jobs according to the time schedule.
Ensuring that office discipline is maintained.
Maintaining the secretarial call of the Department, and assist the HOD in efficient running of the Department.
Handling the reception of patients and other visitors to the HOD Office in a courteous and friendly manner.
Answering telephone calls, taking messages for HOD, dealing with enquiries from patients and their relatives in a helpful and courteous way.
Maintaining and making entry into the computer database set up in the HOD s Office.
Photocopying pages/documents and various other tasks directed by the HOD.
Having good word processing skill and have sound grammar knowledge.
Be efficient in disposing of dictation and typing work.
Knowledge of medical terminology would be advantageous in case of typing of correspondence, reports, minutes of meetings and other documents at the request of HOD.
Performing other duties of comparable responsibility that may be assigned from time to time.
