Head - Taxation - CA (15-25 yrs)

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to lead the Taxation function for a fast-growing, multi-asset investment platform. This leadership role requires deep expertise in income tax, GST, compliance, and financial structuring, with a focus on tax-efficient investment strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in taxation within asset management, financial services, or a Big 4/reputed CA firm.

Key Responsibilities:

- Tax Compliance & Strategy: Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies for all transactions, financial products, and structures across multiple geographies.

- Audit & Regulatory Proceedings: Lead income tax and GST audits, assessments, and appellate proceedings, representing the firm before tax authorities.

- Financial Closures: Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual tax accounting and ensure smooth coordination with statutory and tax auditors.

- Regulatory Liaison: Handle taxation queries, collaborate with external consultants, and maintain compliance with evolving tax laws.

- Industry Expertise: Stay updated on tax regulations, emerging trends, and financial structuring best practices.

What We're Looking For:

- Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15-25 years of relevant experience.

- Expertise: Strong knowledge of income tax, GST, corporate tax laws, and financial structuring.

- Industry Background: Experience in asset management, financial services, or a Big 4 or reputed CA firm preferred.

- Leadership & Decision-Making: Ability to drive tax strategy and manage interactions with tax authorities.
