Software Quality Assurance Manager

Automation Testing Expertise: Significant experience in software automation testing, including designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts using various tools and frameworks.

Security Testing Proficiency: A strong background in Application security testing methodologies, tools, and practices

DevSecOps Integration: Practical knowledge and experience of DevSecOps principles and practices, with the ability to seamlessly integrate security testing into the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.

Quality Assurance and Compliance: Experience in establishing and enforcing quality assurance standards, processes, and compliance.

Continuous Improvement: A track record of continuously improving testing and DevSecOps practices to enhance Quality, Security, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Certifications (Optional): Relevant certifications in automation testing (e.g., ISTQB) and security (e.g., CISSP, CEH) can enhance qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of testers to create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.

Identify and select appropriate automation testing tools and frameworks and overseeing their implementation.

Establish best practices for secure coding and assessment (e.g., OWASP).

Establish and enforce quality assurance standards and processes to maintain software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Generate and analyze test reports and metrics, presenting reports to senior management.

Continuously evaluate and enhance testing and DevSecOps practices to improve overall quality and security posture.

Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure alignment of automation testing efforts with project and organization goals.

Competencies / Skills

1. Bachelors degree in computer science, or related field.

2. Strong knowledge of automation testing tools (Selenium, LoadRunner, RPA, JMeter etc.)

3. Strong knowledge of security testing frameworks and tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Qualys, Burp Suite, Nessus).

4. In-depth understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices

5. Strong Knowlege of SDLC frameworks (Waterfall, Agile) and JIRA tool

6. Familiarity with security standards and compliance (e.g., OWASP Top Ten, ISO 27001).

7. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
