Job Description
- Basic understanding about Chassis system, design aspects function.
- Basic understanding of part selection issues faced during vehicle assembly.
- Basic experience of suspension calibration, simulation software (like ADAMS etc.)
- Understanding of various vehicle dynamic parameters terminologies related to Ride, handling and braking like steering response, Yaw response, vehicle sway, linearity etc.
- Be able to estimate the impact of changing various vehicle parameters (using some form of MBD) on RHB such as impact of tire size on braking etc.
- Interact with testing teams for analyzing failures, correlate the results of CAE with physical testing results and making improvements in CAE model.
- Interpretation of results, comprehending failure modes and providing directions for countermeasures for meeting performance criteria.
- Thorough understanding of automotive engineering and regulatory guidelines and standards (ex. SAE, JATMA, ETRTO and AIS).
- Ability to work hands on with Chassis parts.
- Understand Vehicle dynamics and relationship of each component over vehicle performance.
- Basic knowledge of CAD software e.g. UG NX.
- Fundamental knowledge of regulatory compliance.
- Experience of Project Management will be added advantage.
- On-road driving experience of 2 years is must.
- Hands on experience of using Emission Chassis Dyno Emission Lab handling (preferred)
