Architect-Planner For Town Planning Scheme in Pune

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Architect-Planner with a Bachelors degree in Architecture and a Master’s degree in Planning. The candidate will play a key role in developing and executing Town Planning Schemes (TPS) in Pune, contributing to sustainable urban development and effective land management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Town Planning Scheme Development:
• Conduct detailed analysis of land parcels for preparing TPS layouts.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather necessary data for planning.
• Design layouts considering infrastructure, amenities, and land-use allocation.
2. Urban Design and Planning:
• Create innovative and functional design solutions for urban spaces.
• Ensure compliance with development regulations and zoning bylaws.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
• Liaise with government agencies, landowners, and other stakeholders.
• Address queries and provide solutions for TPS-related issues.
4. Data and Documentation:
• Prepare reports, presentations, and technical documentation.
• Conduct spatial analysis using GIS and other planning tools.
5. Project Management:
• Manage timelines and deliverables for multiple projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.

Skill Set Required:

• Educational Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch).
• Master’s degree in Planning (Urban/Town/Regional Planning preferred).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit).
• GIS tools for spatial analysis and mapping.
• Understanding of TPS principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act (MRTP).
• Professional Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and aptitude for data-driven decision-making.
• Experience:
• 2–6 years of experience in urban/town planning projects is preferred.
