AI / ML Engineer

General Requirements:
Contribute to new AI/ML initiatives for MaintWiz (Saas Product)
Collaborate with the Customer Success Team to understand product functionality and identify opportunities for AI/ML integration.
Develop a strategic roadmap for AI/ML implementation and long-term sustenance.
Engage with customers and AI beacons to align AI/ML solutions with business needs and MaintWiz's product vision.
Stay updated on emerging AI/ML trends and explore their potential adoption within the product.
Must have successfully executed 1-2 lab-level AI/ML projects.
Educational Background: B.Tech/BE in any engineering discipline with strong AI/ML foundations (at least 2-3 core AI/ML subjects).

Role-Specific Requirements:

Generative AI:
Implement an end-to-end RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipeline with localized language models.
Develop and optimize key pipeline components such as data identification, data preparation, embeddings, and information retrieval.
Conduct a cost-benefit analysis for hosting open-source AI models across various cloud platforms.
Strong Python programming skills and a solid understanding of software development concepts.

Machine Learning (ML):
Deep expertise in Supervised Learning algorithms.
Ability to select, evaluate, and optimize ML models based on specific use cases.
Lead the development of end-to-end ML projects, including:
o Prediction models (Regression & Classification)
o Time Series Forecasting
o Recommender Systems

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
Understanding of transformer architectures.
Experience with Semi-supervised and Unsupervised Learning.
Knowledge of training open-source LLMs (Large Language Models) using private datasets.
Ability to design and develop NLP-based conversational AI solutions from scratch.
Hands-on experience in production-level AI/ML implementation is a strong plus.
