JOB DESCRIPTION
Title - SME lead at Region
Reporting to - Head SME group
SO Function - FM Platform
Org. Structure - A flat structure with no assistants. Each SME is expected to carryout tasks as provided below
Duties and Expectations
- Be a SPOC of FM platform in various forums/ meetings internal and external as required .
- He or she is the Subject matter expert in Technical services which is part of FM services
- He or She is expected to learn the soft services business of FM and support the Segment FM business as required
- Expected to travel with in region and outside of region( based on requirement and advise of Head SME) and in some special situation stay at site for long period till assignment is complete.
- Business Development
- Support Segment FM business development team in developing cost Effective FM solution
- Visit sites for carrying out scoping with in region and as required by reporting manager visit other region sites to carryout scoping
- Join BD team to sites to present Sodexo Capability and solution presentation as required by reporting manager
- Provide cost information to BD estimation team for Technical services including estimation on R&M costs, AMC cost, tools cost etc. etc.
- Participate in client meetings as requested
- Learn the new application technology tools and provide support to BD team to recommend the right technology solution in consultation with reporting manager and other managers in FM platform team
- Learn to demonstrate /explain the functions and benefits of these tools to client/internal teams
- Mobilisation support
- Support operation team during mobilization of new site by supporting in establishing Maintenance process and systems
- Support operation during mobilization of new site by training new staff on technical subjects, operation procedures, technical safety, LOTO etc.
- Support operation to assess technical skills of site manpower for developing training programs
- Support operation and be coordinator with IT and technology application team to deploy right solution
- Deploy AMS ( AMF SPOT and Support Maximo deployment) at new technical sites or FM sites with technical scope after proper due diligence and discussion with Operation team and other stakeholders
- Support operation in developing AMC solutions, R&M solution as required and support SCM /Operations during technical discussion as requested.
- Regular Operation support
- Support Segment operations for technical services expertise in FM technical scope, be a specialist in one or multiple area of service like electrical, HVAC, WTP/STP, Fire system, Mechanical utilities , BMS, Building maintenance and other FM related technical requirements
- Support operations by conducting operation audit, RCA on major faults/breakdown, AMC technical discussion with client/vendor, challenge AMC cost, etc.
- Support operations for coordinating some technical training, conduct training in individual specialist area etc. as required through L&D and in some case direct to site /segment which require
- Coordinate with site/operation teams to collect key site data like energy consumption, maintenance spends, AMC costs, continuous improvement practices etc and develop a central data base for bench mark exercise and use in new bids. This will be done by each member of the SME team as a team exercise/project.
- Conduct basic energy management opportunity study( in coordination with energy manager using standard template and approach) as required depending on segment urgent requirements
- Any other job assigned by Head of SME from time to time based on segment need
- Technology development and Innovation
- Participate in all new technology tools deployment ( Maximo, FM software etc.) y learning the tool and monitoring from time to time to ensure the sites consistently use them.
- Understand and learn on the new innovation in FM industry and share to segments and colleagues.
- Take up specific projects from time to time as required by Head of SME group on FM services or related services.
- HSE activity support
- Support the segment to carryout Technical services risk assessment and mitigation plans
- Learn the company HSE process and procedures and support Segment in training site staff and support deployment on special request.
- Practice HSE plans as required ( like Safety walks etc.)
- FM platform tools and initiative deployment support
