Product Manager: SCF, International Trade Finance

Job Responsibilities:

• Owning and managing product strategy.
• Support Product Roadmap Definition: assist the product lead in defining and prioritizing product features based on market needs, customer feedback, and business objectives.
• Conduct Research Analysis & Benchmarking: Perform market research, competitive analysis, and user research to identify customer pain points and uncover opportunities for product enhancements.
• Product monetisation strategy
• Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the successful and timely delivery of product features, providing ongoing clarification and support throughout the development lifecycle.
• Track product performance: assist in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of product initiatives.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to gather feedback, address product-related issues, and drive user adoption.

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in product management or product sales management.
• 2-3 years of experience in international trade finance, with a focus on product management or sales. Experience with private or MNC banks in global or international trade finance is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to make informed product decisions.
• Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
• A self-starter who takes initiative, demonstrates ownership, and drives responsibilities forward.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, the product development lifecycle, and project management tools.

Key Skills:

• Extensive experience in cross-border trade finance receivables with a deep understanding of the intricacies of international trade finance.
• Expert knowledge of FEMA (Foreign Exchange Management Act) and its application in cross-border transactions.
• Familiarity with International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Rules governing trade finance practices.
• Strong expertise in factoring and receivables finance, including protocols and processes involved in managing these financial instruments
