Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities: 1. Execution of projects as per the schedule

• Ensure execution of projects as per the project schedule while adhering to project safety and quality plan/ standards.
• Review drawings and plan & manage execution as per laid processes.

2. Managing site resources and mapping productivity:

• Managing on site resource deployment and ensure resource optimization.
• Productivity mapping and control for all on site activities.

3. Supervision and evaluation of contractors and other employees:

• Managing vendors and aligning them to achieve desired progress while maintaining equal focus on quality and safety parameters.
• Work certification and performance evaluation of contractors at site.

4. Data collection and reporting:

• Maintain proper progress records and report to the project team with constraints and resolution ideas.

5. ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Compliance:

• Understand & Implement ESMS (Environment & Social Management System) policies and guidelines.
• Implement and enforce electrical safety protocols on-site, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and address any electrical safety concerns promptly.

6. Quality Assurance:

• Implement quality control processes to ensure that execution meet industry standards and project specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with quality requirements.

7. Quantity survey and Store Reconciliation

• Estimating quantity as per GFC drawings and verify actual quantities as per site conditions.
• Tracking of material wrt planned progress, actual progress and highlight any forecasted shortfall.
• Maintain service and material reconciliation reports.

8. Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including planning engineers, electrical engineers, supervisors, and other stakeholders, to ensure coordinated project execution.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• 5+ Years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on renewable energy projects (Wind, Solar, Hybrid).
• In depth knowledge of all civil activities related to infrastructure works.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the renewable energy sector.
• Strong communication within team and subordinates.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong data analysis skills.
