Electrical and Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Manager Maintenance (Electrical)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective action for all machinery and equipment.
• Check the runtime of DG Set, consumption of Diesel, electricity and prepare the data for analysis to reduce the consumption and cost control.
• Check the In-house fitted electronic item (all kind Fan, Light producing items, AC, Compressor, etc.) on regular basis and ensure all items functioning properly.
• Regularly checked all offset printing, flexo printing and post press machinery, including Komori Offset Printing Machines, Eterna Die Cutting Machines, Eterna / DGM Folder Gluers etc. and other utilities including Lift, DG Sets, Compressor, AC items etc.and ensure non above machines and equipment or related items are functioning properly.
• Perform regular maintenance on electrical equipment such as motors, PLCs, inverters, control panels, and wiring systems. Diagnose and repair electrical faults to ensure machines operate smoothly.
• Quickly identify and resolve electrical issues, including problems with power distribution, motors, electrical circuits, and control systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, cleaning, and testing of electrical systems and machinery to prevent unexpected breakdowns. Maintain and update equipment logs and service records.
• Assist in the installation of new electrical systems, machinery, or equipment. Ensure all systems meet safety and operational standards.
• Adhere to all safety standards and electrical codes. Ensure the safe operation of all electrical equipment and implement safe working practices. Follow lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure minimal disruption during electrical maintenance or repairs. Assist in machine optimization and support troubleshooting efforts for non-electrical issues.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Prepare reports on machine performance and any potential electrical upgrades or replacements.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement prompt repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Develop and manage the maintenance budget, focusing on cost-effective solutions.
• Optimize resource allocation to achieve operational goals within budget constraints.
• Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts and tools.
• Monitor equipment performance and suggest upgrades or replacements to enhance productivity.
• Perform immediate corrective maintenance during machine breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement and service contracts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and enforce preventive measures to mitigate risks.
• Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing training and performance evaluations.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and service schedules

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma in Electrical or B.tech / BE / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Offset Printing & Packaging companies.

- In-depth knowledge of Offset Printing Machines, Die Cutting Machines, Folder Gluers etc.

- Proficiency in PLC systems, motor controls, VFDs, and electrical schematics. Familiarity with industrial control systems and automation.

- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot electrical faults and provide effective solutions.

- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including standing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

- Result Oriented and Team Management.

Important Points:

- Reporting Structure: Reporting to Plant Head

- Office hours 9.30 AM to 6.30 PM

- Workdays – Monday to Saturday

- Working model –Work from office

- Job Location – Noida Sec-59/ Ecotech-II Greater Noida

- Personal Conveyance is a must.

- Candidate must be living in Noida / Greater Noida / Ghaziabad / East or South Delhi or must be willing to relocate to Noida or Greater Noida before starting the job.
