Role Overview :

As a Shopify Developer/Shopify Expert at Lucent Innovation, you will play a pivotal role in developing, customizing, and optimizing Shopify stores for our diverse clientele. You will leverage your deep understanding of the Shopify ecosystem to create seamless and engaging e-commerce experiences. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities :

Shopify Store Development & Customization :

- Develop and customize Shopify themes to meet client-specific requirements.

- Implement custom functionalities using Shopify apps and plugins.

- Create and modify Liquid templates to enhance store functionality and design.

- Build and maintain responsive and mobile-optimized Shopify stores.

E-commerce Solution Implementation :

- Integrate third-party applications and APIs to extend Shopify functionality (e.g., payment gateways, shipping providers, marketing tools).

- Configure and manage product catalogs, collections, and inventory.

- Implement SEO best practices to improve store visibility and organic traffic.

- Implement and configure shopify plus features when needed.

Performance Optimization & Maintenance :

- Optimize website performance for speed, scalability, and usability.

- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure smooth store operation.

- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing Shopify stores.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Shopify stores.

Client Collaboration & Support :

- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

- Provide technical support and guidance to clients on Shopify platform usage.

- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and resolve issues.

- Document all work performed.

Stay Updated with Shopify Trends :

- Maintain up to date knowledge of new Shopify features and updates.

- Research and implement new technologies and best practices to improve store performance.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

Experience : Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in Shopify development.

Shopify Expertise :

- Deep understanding of the Shopify platform and its ecosystem.

- Proficiency in Shopify theme development and customization.

- Experience with Shopify apps and plugins.

- Experience with shopify plus is a major plus.

Programming Skills :

- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid programming language (Must).

- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a plus.

E-commerce Knowledge :

- Solid understanding of e-commerce principles and best practices.

- Experience with integrating payment gateways, shipping providers, and other e-commerce tools.
