LSInextGen - Red Hat OpenShift Consultant - System Implementation (4-6 yrs)

About the Role :

LSInextgen is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Red Hat OpenShift Consultant to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert-level consulting services to clients on the implementation, customization, and optimization of Red Hat OpenShift platforms.

You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into effective OpenShift-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, architect, and implement Red Hat OpenShift solutions, including infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and container orchestration.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to OpenShift deployments and operations.

- Provide guidance on best practices for containerization, microservices architecture, and DevOps methodologies.

- Automate infrastructure and application deployments using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, and Terraform.

- Perform performance tuning and capacity planning for OpenShift clusters.

- Conduct security assessments and implement security best practices for OpenShift environments.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and project managers.

- Stay current with the latest advancements in container technologies and cloud-native computing.

- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the organization.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift : Deep understanding of OpenShift architecture, installation, configuration, and administration.

- Containerization expertise : Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration concepts.

- Cloud experience : Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.

- Automation skills : Expertise in automation tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, and Terraform.

- Scripting proficiency : Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or other relevant languages.

- Networking knowledge : Understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, load balancing, and network security.

- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills : Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

- Communication and interpersonal skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Teamwork and collaboration skills : Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Certifications : Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) for Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Application Development, or other relevant certifications.

- Experience with DevOps methodologies : Experience with Agile, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

- Experience with microservices architecture : Understanding of microservices principles and design patterns.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools : Experience with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
