Job Title: Lead ESG Assurance

Reporting To: Partner

Candidates applying for the position must be a Chartered Accountant working in ESG Practice.

Job Specification:

• Lead and managing all aspects of the end-to-end engagement process including working to agree on timetables, developing the scope of work and deliverables, developing appropriate work programs, reviewing the testing and assurance fieldwork and draft reporting, and being responsible for project management.
• To identify solutions for ESG reporting framework, metrics and disclosures.
• Identify, research, & resolve complex climate & sustainability/ESG assurance issues.
• Manage and deliver engagements in line with the ESG Assurance Standards.
• Assist in developing and improving our ESG Assurance work programmes, methodologies, toolkits, team development, and external partnerships.
• Building relationships with the client staff and acting as an ambassador for the firm Lead and coaching a team of juniors and Assistant Managers working on onshore audits.
• Act as the main point of contact by building strong relationships with the stakeholders.
• Work with senior management and key onshore contacts to develop business and grow the team by identifying and pursuing new assurance opportunities.
• Track key metrics related to the type of work performed, quality of deliverables and feedback from onshore.

Educational Qualification & Experience:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 3 -5 years of experience with a reputable firm.
• Upskilled in sustainability/ESG- assurance practices from ICAI or any good Institute.
• Experience in sustainability/climate/environmental-related fields, including experience in delivering sustainability assurance engagements for medium and large entities.
