Network Engineer - Level - L3

Experienced Network Engineer sought for a Level 3 support role within a dynamic ISP environment. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in network design, implementation, troubleshooting, and client support, preferably within an international network operations setting.

Responsibilities include providing top-tier support for network issues, ranging from new network implementations to outage resolution, focusing on WAN/LAN, MPLS, and Internet routing.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of international networks, peering, internet exchanges, IP transits, and upstream providers. Practical knowledge and implementation experience with MPLS L2VPN and L3VPN services are essential, along with the ability to independently handle customer escalations.

Experience with troubleshooting network performance issues like flapping, packet loss, and latency is crucial. Proficiency in using command-line interfaces for network device management and familiarity with vendors like Cisco, Juniper, and Huawei are required.

This role demands excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with customers and coordinating with NOC teams.

The ability to respond promptly to alerts and tickets, maintain accurate records, and escalate issues as needed is vital.

A B.Tech/BE in a relevant field (EXTC/Computer Science) and certifications like Network+/CCNP/JNCIA are preferred. Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, IPAM, and SNMPc is a plus.
