Market Survey - Agro Based EXIM

We are looking for an intern to assist in conducting market surveys and research within the agri commodities industry. The intern will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on market trends, pricing, and consumer behaviors. This role offers valuable exposure to the agri commodities sector and provides the opportunity to develop strong analytical skills that are crucial for success in trading and market analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting market surveys to gather data on the supply and demand of agri commodities in different regions and markets.
• Analyze market trends, pricing data, and production forecasts to provide insights on current and future market conditions.
• Collect and organize data from industry reports, trade publications, online resources, and direct interviews with suppliers and buyers.
• Support in preparing detailed reports and presentations based on survey findings and data analysis.
• Help identify emerging market trends and opportunities for business expansion or product offerings.
• Maintain and update databases of market information to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
• Help in tracking the performance of agri commodities in various regions and identifying key factors influencing market dynamics.

Requirements:

• Strong interest in the agri commodities industry and market analysis.
• Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret large amounts of data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings clearly and effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with advanced Excel skills (e.g., data analysis, charts, pivot tables) preferred.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
• Ability to conduct interviews or surveys with suppliers, buyers, and market participants.
• Previous experience or coursework related to market research or data analysis is a plus.
