Work timings : 6 days (10.30 am to 6.30 PM )

JD :


The Payroll and Leave Management Executive will be responsible for managing and overseeing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursements, statutory compliance related to ESIC, and managing employee leave records.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Payroll Management:

  • Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with tax regulations, statutory deductions (PF, ESIC, TDS), and company policies.
  • Maintain payroll records, including salary adjustments, bonus, incentives, and reimbursements.
  • Handle employee queries related to salary, deductions, and pay-related matters.
  • Prepare and manage payslips, and other required payroll reports.

2. Leave Management:

  • Administer and track employee leave records (sick leave, casual leave, Earned leave, Comp Offs, OD leaves etc.).
  • Coordinate with employees and department heads for accurate leave balances and approval processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company leave policies and statutory leave regulations
  • Update and maintain leave data in the HRIS/Leave Management System.
  • Provide reports on leave accruals, usage, and balances to management.

3. ESIC Management:

  • Ensure the organizations compliance with ESIC regulations for eligible employees.
  • Maintain and update the list of ESIC-covered employees.
  • Process ESIC registrations for new employees and ensure timely contributions are made.
  • Manage claims related to ESIC and guide employees through the filing process.
  • Keep track of ESIC payments and generate necessary reports for statutory compliance.
  • Stay updated with changes in ESIC laws and regulations and ensure the company's adherence to them.

4. Statutory Compliance:

  • Prepare and submit necessary reports to government bodies (such as ESIC, PF, etc.).
  • Keep track of compliance deadlines and ensure timely filing of statutory returns.
  • Assist in audits (internal and external) related to payroll and employee benefits.

5. General Administration:

  • Support the HR team with any other payroll or leave-related tasks.
  • Ensure confidentiality of employee salary and leave data.
  • Assist in the preparation of HR reports for senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.

• Minimum of [2] years of experience in payroll and leave management.

  • Knowledge of ESIC, Provident Fund, and other statutory compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with payroll software and HRIS systems.
  • Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and tax regulations.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in payroll processing.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel (knowledge of payroll software is a plus).
