Fire Fighting Engineer - high-rise experience

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of fire alarm systems, fire protection systems, and firefighting equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
  
• Develop and implement effective fire safety policies, procedures, and protocols for the organization.
  
• Provide training on fire prevention, fire safety awareness, and emergency response planning to employees.
  
• Collaborate with other departments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for mitigating risks related to fires.
  
• Investigate incidents involving fires or near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-10 years of experience in fire fighting engineering or a related field (fire protection engineering).
  
• Strong knowledge of alarms systems, fire alarm system design principles, and code requirements (e.g., NFPA).
  
• Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, developing emergency response plans, and implementing evacuation procedures.
  
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including facility management staff, contractors/vendors.
