Chief Business Officer - Food Tech Startup - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS (13-22 yrs)

Our client, a rapidly growing food tech startup based out of Bangalore, is looking for a dynamic Chief Business Officer (CBO) to drive brand scaling, market expansion, and strategic growth across online and offline channels. This is a high-impact leadership role as a part of founding team to build a category-defining brand and scale across India.

Role Overview:

As the CBO, you will lead the business strategy, P&L ownership, and nationwide expansion, driving both B2B and B2C growth. The role demands an entrepreneurial mindset, deep expertise in food tech, retail, and hospitality partnerships, and the ability to build a high-growth, scalable business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Scale brand presence across Pan-India, leveraging both online and offline distribution channels.

2. Own P&L and revenue strategy, optimizing business performance across multiple verticals.

3. Spearhead new market entry, driving customer acquisition and engagement strategies.

4. Work as part of founding team to drive vision, innovation, and operational excellence.

5. Lead and mentor a high-performing sales, marketing, and operations team.

Candidate Profile:

1. 13+ years of experience in food tech with proven expertise in scaling brands.

2. Strong background in P&L ownership, business expansion, and strategic alliances.

3. Experience in online & offline business models, including D2C, and institutional partnerships.

4. Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment.

5. Ability to drive structured business growth while maintaining agility.

6. MBA from Tier 1 with proven expertise in high growth startup
