Job Description
- Supervision Leadership :
- Supervise and direct a team of machinists, operators, and other shop personnel.
- Assign tasks and ensure proper workflow to meet production deadlines.
- Monitor employee performance and provide training, coaching, and support as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Production Management :
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that all machinery is operating at peak efficiency.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust resources as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Ensure products meet quality standards by performing regular inspections and audits.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, such as machinery malfunctions or quality control problems.
- Safety Compliance :
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure all team members are properly trained on equipment safety and hazard prevention.
- Enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Quality Control :
- Ensure all parts and products produced meet quality specifications and industry standards.
- Work closely with the Quality Control (QC) department to identify and correct any issues related to production quality.
- Conduct regular audits of processes to maintain high standards of workmanship.
