Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee sales activities for heavy commercial vehicles in a specific geographical area. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the heavy commercial vehicle industry, excellent sales skills, and a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with key customers, and leading a team of sales professionals to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and maximise revenue for heavy commercial vehicles within the assigned area.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share and increase sales volume.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including dealerships, fleet operators, and government agencies, to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  4. Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  5. Provide ongoing training and support to the sales team to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service capabilities.
  6. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement and strategic initiatives.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  8. Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management to track progress against sales goals and objectives.
