Convention Hall Operations Head

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee the overall operations of the convention hall, including event setup, logistics, and customer service.
• Coordinate with event organizers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and quality of service.
• Ensure the venue meets safety and compliance regulations, including fire safety and health codes.
• Manage facility maintenance, cleanliness, and equipment upkeep.
• Supervise and train staff, ensuring they meet performance standards and deliver excellent customer service.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to maintain cost-effective operations.
• Address and resolve customer complaints or operational issues promptly.
• Liaise with marketing and sales teams to maximize bookings and revenue.
• Implement technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and guest experience.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Conventions.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in venue management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple events simultaneously.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance requirements, and facility management best practices.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
