Keysight RD centre in Gurgaon/Bangalore, India needs a Software QA RD Engineer for EDA Software testing and quality assurance on Keysight EDA software. The Software QA Engineer will test Keysight software solutions using the Agile Software Development Model. The engineer will use a wide array of test techniques, tools, and methodologies to perform a quality check on EDA products enabling Keysights RF/Microwave, HSD, Power Electornics solutions Responsibilities Key Responsibilities will include:- Validation and qualification of Keysight EDA tolls like ADS in terms of Functionality / Usability / Reliability / Performance and Supportability. Work closely with the RD Development team, Product Owner, Release Manager, and Software Architect in an Agile environment Create and execute QA plans during SDLC Capture design flow breakages in the customer design flow during the software development cycle. Capture limitations of software in designing applications and improvements needed in the tool Part of Agile Scrum team, focusing on delivering on Sprint tasks and goals. Develop and enhance automated test frameworks and test suits Participate in the Early Access/Beta testing program. Interact and Support customers during the program to understand customer issues. Getting customer issues addressed. Practice Speed, Focus, and Accountability at all time Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, standards and regulations Qualifications Careers Privacy Statement Keysight is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Bachelors or master s degree in ECE/EEE or equivalent degree(with CS knowledge desirable) 5-12 years experience in EDA Software QA testing or Software Automation domain (preferred EDA industry experience) Excellent knowledge of RF Microwave, High-speed design application in simulation scenarios using Keysight ADS or similar EDA software (Desired Knowledge of RFIC simulation tools (like Cadence Virtuoso, ADS, HFSS, etc.). Finding defects breakages in the customer design flow during the software development cycle. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in RFIC design and simulation environments. Working closely with RD for improvement in feature development. Creating and executing QA Test Plans for new features integrated into the product. Knowledge of scripting programming languages like Python, Shell Proven skills in the creation of automation test framework/harness to automate new product/feature development Knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines, Jenkins etc Knowledge of Software development tools (Git/bitbucket, MS Visual Studio, Atlassian tools) Understand functional testing, smoke testing, performance, load testing, security testing, API testing and end-to-end testing Passion for continuing education and improving code quality through interaction with the development team. Knowledge of Agile software development methodology.
