Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation/Manual Testing (6-8 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Thoroughly analyze and understand project requirements, seeking clarifications from clients as needed.

- Translate requirements into comprehensive test plans and test cases.

- Identify and assess potential risks associated with software development and deployment.

- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks.

- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

- Execute manual and automated tests, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.

- Report and track bugs, ensuring timely resolution and closure.

- Prepare clear and concise test reports, summarizing test results and identifying areas for improvement.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.

- Coordinate QA activities within projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines and deliverables.

- Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress and potential issues.

- Coordinate with developers to resolve bugs.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression testing using Selenium or Cucumber (preferred).

- Continuously improve and optimize automation frameworks.

- Effectively manage QA activities across multiple projects simultaneously.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Extensive experience in both manual and automation testing.

- Proficiency in using various testing tools and processes.

- Strong hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium or Cucumber.

- Ability to design and implement robust automation frameworks.

- Knowledge of Java or C#.

- Basic SQL knowledge.

- Experience in REST API testing (a significant advantage).

- Experience in security and performance testing (a valuable advantage).

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to think critically.
