Kalpita Technologies - Acquisition Expert (12-14 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Acquisitions Expert with a finance background to join our dynamic IT organization.

- The ideal candidate will play a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and executing Acquisitions opportunities that align with our strategic objectives.

- This role requires a professional with strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and deal execution experience, who can work cross-functionally to drive growth through acquisitions, partnerships, and investments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Strategic Planning & Deal Sourcing:

- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets, partnerships, and investment opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals.

- Develop and maintain relationships with investment bankers, legal advisors, industry contacts, and other key stakeholders.

- Financial Analysis & Valuation:

- Conduct in-depth financial modeling, valuations, and due diligence to assess the feasibility and value of potential deals.

- Analyze financial statements, projections, and business models to determine profitability and identify synergies with the company.

- Deal Execution:

- Manage the end-to-end process for Acquisitions transactions, from initial deal sourcing through to final integration.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams (legal, HR, operations, etc.) to manage due diligence, negotiations, and documentation.

- Coordinate and lead deal structuring, including terms and conditions, financing options, and transaction documents.

Post- Acquisitions Integration:

- Collaborate with internal teams to create and implement integration plans for acquired companies.

- Track and monitor performance of integrated entities to ensure synergy targets are achieved.

Risk Assessment & Compliance:

- Assess and mitigate financial, operational, and strategic risks associated with potential deals.

- Ensure all transactions comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Market & Industry Research:

- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and Acquisitions opportunities.

- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management on potential growth areas.

Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.

- MBA or CFA is highly preferred.

Experience :

- 12+ years of experience in Acquisitions, corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity, with a focus on the IT or technology sector.

- Proven track record in managing all phases of the Acquisitions lifecycle, including deal sourcing, due diligence, negotiation, and integration.

Skills:

- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with proficiency in valuation techniques.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally with diverse teams.

- In-depth knowledge of IT and technology markets, with an understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities.

Technical Proficiency:

- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling software.

- Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements in processes.
