About Sales Manager

Sales Manager is responsible for driving the business by directly managing the remotely located tele-sales team and reach out to all the prospects within the region pertaining to the given category. SM drives the sales teams that educate the clients about the business opportunities being provided by JD Mart via its authentic buyer traffic and easy-to-use technical tools. SM manages category specific sales teams that specialize in given categories and help the clients in constantly upgrading their know-how of business as well as digital happenings. The role provides cross-functional development by providing opportunity to manage sales teams, skill development, team development and organization wide resource development.

The right candidate will have a deep background in engaging customers on the web in e- commerce or similar transaction-focused environments. They will have the ability to work across organizations and disciplines to build networks and accomplish business goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

sales person will work towards achieving the sales target month on month.

  • Follow up on leads, call prospects to the site and show the clients around.
  • Responsible for sales and marketing of the residential site through all verticals.
  • Following the leads, negotiating commercial terms & closing of the sale.
  • Network with corporate, HNI & other clients for project marketing & sales.
  • Planning and implementing strategies for new project launch mainly project marketing & sales planning.
  • Establishing relationship with all distribution partners.
  • Inputs on design, cost comparisons, feedback on vendor selection for top management and coordination and planning of the entire exercise.
  • Responsible for post sales cycle and customer satisfaction.
  • Creating and sustaining a dynamic environment that fosters the development opportunities and motivates the high performance amongst the team members.
  • Intermediate negotiation processes, consult clients
  • Complete revenue responsibility for the assigned set of clients/territory.
  • Meeting pre-determined weekly/monthly/quarterly & annual targets.
  • Responsible for all sales metrics Acquisition, Retention, Average Ticket Size, CSAT, Cross/ Upsell.
  • Understanding client's requirements and offering solutions that best meet their requirements.
  • Monitory clients campaigns and providing best-of-the-class post sales services.
  • Territory/Accounts Management.
  • Process Orientation.

Required Skills Abilities:

  • Should have strong existing relationships with the SME's
  • Understands sales fundamentals.
  • Strong in concept selling.
  • Strong in Communication, Presentation, Analytical bent of mind with logical reasoning
  • Strong in Stakeholder management skills.
  • Should be energetic & a thinking person.
