Position: Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to handle troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and compliance activities for pharmaceutical equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of equipment such as Fluid Bed Processor, RMG, Tablet Coating Machine, Compression Machine, Inspection Machine, Blister Packing Machine, Bottle Packing Machine, and ASR systems.
2. Ensure compliance with cGMP and GEP standards.
3. Execute validation and re-validation of process and utility equipment as per schedules.
4. Investigate breakdowns and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
5. Handle HMI, PLC, and SCADA troubleshooting and ensure system reliability.
6. Prepare and execute new SOPs, PM checklists, IQ/OQ documentation, and schedules for GxP and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
7. Develop and update the annual master maintenance schedule, including new equipment.
8. Prepare detailed breakdown analysis reports for repeated breakdowns and initiate/review CAPA, Change Control, and Deviation processes.
9. Identify critical spare parts and ensure timely procurement and management.
10. Troubleshoot technical issues in systems such as servomotors, DC motors, vacuum pumps, load cells, weighing balances, SMPC, and UPS systems.
11. Manage hydraulic systems like LPD, forklifts, lifts, gearboxes, blenders, and cylinders.
12. Coordinate with OEM vendors for installation and qualification of new equipment.
13. Ensure the personal safety of all team members by implementing proper energy control lockout systems.
14. Report shift activities, including breakdowns, to the supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong knowledge of equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Experience with engineering systems such as PLC, SCADA, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
• Excellent documentation skills for SOPs, PM schedules, and engineering protocols.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis, CAPA, and compliance with cGMP standards.
• Strong technical understanding of hydraulic systems, vacuum pumps, and servo/DC motors.
• Ability to coordinate with OEM vendors and cross-functional teams effectively.

Experience: 27 years in engineering maintenance within the pharmaceutical or healthcare manufacturing industry.
