Senior SQL Server Database Administrator (7-12 yrs)

Role : Senior SQL Server Database Administrator

Location : Hyderabad (US Shift : 2 PM - 11 PM)

Experience : Minimum 8 years

Key Responsibilities :

• Configure and manage SQL Server Always On Availability Groups.
• Design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Optimize database performance, including query and index tuning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SQL Server Availability Groups.
• Develop automation scripts using tools like PowerShell or T-SQL.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

• Proven expertise with SQL Server, including Always On Availability Groups.
• Deep understanding of high-availability, disaster recovery, and replication strategies.
• Proficiency with SQL Server management tools (SSMS, Profiler, performance monitoring tools).
• Experience with clustering, failover strategies, and backup methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills in an Availability Group environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Database Administrator Associate, SQL Server Database Administrator) are a plus.

• Experience with SQL Server in cloud environments (e.g., Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS).
• Familiarity with multi-region Availability Groups and cross-datacenter setups.
• Knowledge of database mirroring, log shipping, or third-party monitoring tools.
