Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and motivated HR Intern to join our Human Resources team. As a paid HR Intern, you will gain practical experience in various aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, and administrative support. You will work closely with our HR team to ensure that HR processes and systems run smoothly and contribute to the overall success of the museum’s operations.
Key Responsibilities

• Recruitment Support: Assist in posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating recruitment efforts.
• Onboarding Assistance: Support the onboarding process by preparing materials, assisting new hires, and coordinating training sessions.
• Employee Engagement: Help organize team-building activities, wellness programs, and employee recognition initiatives.
• HR Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, assist in benefits administration, and handle confidential employee information.
• Performance Management Support: Assist in tracking performance appraisals and providing administrative support for feedback and development processes.
• Policy and Procedure Compliance: Assist in ensuring that HR policies and procedures align with organizational goals and legal requirements.
• Other Administrative Tasks: Provide general HR support by handling inquiries, preparing reports, and contributing to other HR projects as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

• Educational Background: Recent graduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Team Player: Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Interest in the Museum Sector: A passion for museums, innovation, and the arts is a plus.
