Job Description
- Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
- Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
- Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies
- Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability.
- Skilled in automated API and UI testing using technologies like RestAssured and Selenium.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as JAVA, Selenium, and Cucumber.
- Experience with performance testing tools, including JMeter and Blazemeter.
- Proficient in automation and continuous delivery methods, as well as the entire Software Development Life Cycle.
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security, with demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within disciplines like cloud, AI, and machine learning.
- Independently design, develop, test, and deliver Test Automation Solutions supporting UAT and UAT testing using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber
- Familiar with REST and SOAP web services, API Testing/Automation
- Knowledge of databases like Trino, Iceberg, Snowflake and Postgres
- Collaborative, able to build strong relationships across the firm, strategize and drive process improvements, and results oriented
