Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the Direct Tax practice, providing expertise on domestic and international direct tax matters, including corporate tax, transfer pricing, and tax litigation;
- Preparation and Finalization of Return of Income, Tax Audit, other forms and ensuring timely compliances;
- Lead business development initiatives, including identifying new client opportunities, pitching services, and expanding the firm's client portfolio in the direct tax domain;
- Advise clients on tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to optimize tax liabilities while adhering to relevant regulations;
- Represent clients in dealings with tax authorities, including responding to queries, managing litigation and obtaining approvals, registrations etc;
- Monitor and interpret changes in tax legislation, ensuring team remains updated to the tax legislation to ensure that clients are kept informed and compliant with current regulations;
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their business needs and delivering value-added services;
- Collaborate with other partners and teams to provide comprehensive tax solutions, ensuring alignment with overall business strategies;
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring continuous professional growth within the team;
- Participate in strategic decision-making at the leadership level, contributing to the overall growth and success of the firm;
