Progress OpenEdge/4GL Consultant

Must have Progress OpenEdge 11.7.6, Progress 4GL, GUI. 3-5 years Hands on experience on Progress OpenEdge Solid background as a Software Developer and within software development Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Superior time management skills. Ability to present technical details to non-technical audiences. Ability to work through ambiguous situations. Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. Self-motivated, able to work independently, and able to take initiative without always being directed. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize the most critical tasks and projects.

Good practical experience on Progress 4GL REVERSE Engineering Project exp would be an added advantage. Good to haveJob Description GIT, GitHub Desktop, Appserver / PASOE, REST APIs, Postman, OOPS, Dynamics Objects, Batch Programming. Knowledge of warehouse management system, EDI transactions, Inventory, Shipping, Packing and Receiving.

Extensive experience and understanding in amending code, testing, and ensuring everything has been done ready to go live Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and complex troubleshooting methods. Work experience on REST APIs, PASOE & Postman

Well-versed on GIT, GitHub Work experience on OOPS, Dynamics Objects, Batch Programming. Knowledge of warehouse management system, EDI transactions, Inventory, Shipping, Packing and Receiving etc Knowledge of Azure DevOps and TFS Experience with Agile development methodology.
