Manager Lighting Automation (Mumbai)

Role & responsibilities

Product Strategy: Develop and refine product strategy and road-map. Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize product features and requirements.

• Product Development: Work closely with OEM and R&D teams to develop solutions and ensure timely delivery to the target segments. Collaborate with design teams to develop user interface and user experience.
• Product Launch: Develop and execute product launch plans. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop launch materials and campaigns. Ensure successful product adoption and revenue growth.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback. Monitor competitors and market trends. Identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
• Product Positioning: Ensure competitive positioning of Jaquar products in the segment with a strong value proposition to significantly increase the market share.
• Product Pricing: Ensure pricing management of entire product portfolio in line prevailing market operating prices. Ensure purchase prices of the products are maintained to achieve the gross margin targets for the business.
• Product Marketing: Plan and execute marketing plans for the product portfolios along with the Marcom Team. Conduct Seminars/ Workshops for key stakeholders to increase acceptance and awareness of Jaquar Smart Lighting & Automation Solutions
• Stakeholder Management: Communicate product plans and progress to stakeholders. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize product features and requirements. Ensure stakeholder buy-in and support for product decisions.
• Other Responsibilities: Support the design team to prepare solutions as per project requirements. Ensure timely support to sales team to increase the market share in the geography we operate in. Train the sales, project, consultants and end users and other key stake holders on Jaquar Solutions. Engage with key consultants, builders and architects to drive Jaquar Specifications in commercial, residential and government projects.

Preferred candidate profile

Education: Engineering in Electronics & Communication/ Electrical/ IT; additional qualifications in sales or marketing are a plus

Experience: 10-15 years of experience in Smart Lightning/ Automation/ Home Automation/ Audio-Video with a focus on product development & marketing.
