iSchoolConnect is looking for a talented SEO manager to join our marketing team. We're looking for a candidate who is experienced in website SEO development both on page and off page, strong technical SEO knowledge, management and the analysis of all its technical aspects.

The candidate will be expected to create and implement SEO strategies/KPIs, Roadmaps/ Traffic Growth & Projections for the website. They will also be in charge of managing the SEO team and also work with internal and external vendors.

Principal Accountabilities :

- Developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies

- Coordinating content, design, social media, pay-per-click (PPC) marketing and other activities

- Managing offsite and onsite optimization projects and reporting on performance.

Responsibilities :

- Analytical and perceptive professional who is a skilled communicator and able to collaborate with various teams. Current knowledge of SEO practices and techniques is essential to this role

- Your goal will be to ensure that content is search-engine friendly and optimized to increase our company's profitability.

- Develop and execute successful SEO strategies

- Manage team of SEO Specialists

- Conduct keyword research to guide content teams

- Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes

- Optimize website content, landing pages and paid search copy

- Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building).

Work Context :

- Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects

- Work with social media and PPC teams to optimize campaigns

- Keep abreast of SEO and integrated marketing trends

- Create pitch, business roadmaps and traffic KPIs

- Create technical BRDs and work closely with the tech and product team.

Role Requirements :

- 4+ years of experience in overall SEO, Tech/Product Management & Team Leadership

- Proven experience as SEO Manage or similar role

- Required to have a graduate degree in related fields. Preference will be given to people from tech background (BSC (IT/CS), B-TECH, B.E)

- Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude

- Strong organizational and leadership skills

- Should have an in-depth understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods

- Should have an implementational knowledge of HTML, CSS, Angular, Node JS, and Javascript

- Experience with SEO industry programs such as Semrush, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console. Knowledge about HubSpot, Lucky Orange will be an added advantage

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems.
