Opening For Electrical/Instrumentation Lead in Mumbai

Job Purpose

• Responsible procurement of assigned commodities and services from international vendors Procurement of Goods required for plant requirements.
• Identifying suitable vendors, floating enquiries, receiving quotations, preparing initial comparison statement, carry out negotiation, preparing final comparison statement, ARCs, preparing order with approved budget limit and expediting material of Electrical and instrumentation items.

• Responsibilities:

• Responsible for entire PR to PO activities including preparing, reviewing and floating the tender documents for material and services required for plant operation, maintenance, projects & other functions including administration, logistics etc.
• Doing cost effective Procurement (Spares, capital equipments) and project procurement within the required time frame.
• Commercial bid analysis and negotiation with vendors on price and commercial terms and conditions.
• Responsible for new vendor development & selection of right vendor as per company's policy
• Raising management approval note for purchase and placement of purchase order with all terms and conditions.
• Ensure delivery of equipment’s & materials as per specification and agreed delivery date.
• Ensuring the timely payment to suppliers.
• Assessing the performance of vendors based on price, quality, payment terms, response & timely delivery.
• Stakeholder coordination and management.
• Monitor performances of vendors and their compliance with their commitment
• Support the process improvement initiative, planning, data analytics and procurement digitization effort.
