Job Title: Accounts Executive  /Sr.Accounts Executive

Location: Mumbai

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, GST return filing, TDS return filing, and experience with TallyPrime software. Strong communication skills are essential for this role, and an MBA in Finance will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable:
   
• Process and manage accounts payable transactions.
• Ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
• Reconcile accounts payable ledgers to maintain accuracy.
2. Accounts Receivable:
   
• Manage and process incoming payments from customers.
• Reconcile accounts receivable to ensure timely collections.
• Prepare and send out invoices to clients.
3. GST Return Filing:
   
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) accurately and on time.
• Ensure compliance with GST regulations and update records as necessary.
• Address any discrepancies or queries related to GST.
4. TDS Return Filing:
   
• Calculate and file TDS returns in compliance with current tax regulations.
• Prepare TDS certificates and manage TDS deductions.
• Handle TDS-related queries and reconciliations.
5. TallyPrime:
   
• Utilize TallyPrime software for maintaining and managing day-to-day accounting transactions.
• Ensure data is entered accurately and promptly into the TallyPrime system.
• Assist in generating financial reports and maintaining general ledgers.
6. General Accounting & Reporting:
   
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for review.
• Maintain records of financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
7. Communication & Coordination:
   
• Liaise with internal departments, vendors, and clients for smooth financial operations.
• Provide clear communication and resolve accounting-related queries in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Accounts Executive or similar role in accounting.
• Hands-on experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, GST return filing, TDS return filing, and TallyPrime.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and other accounting software.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• MBA in Finance or B.Com (or any other relevant degree).
• Experience in GST and TDS filing is a must.
