Design Head/HOD

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Design Head / HOD to lead our mechanical design engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving design excellence, fostering innovation, and ensuring high-quality project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead & Mentor: Provide direction, mentorship, and support to the mechanical design team to ensure high-quality output.

-Strategic Design Development: Develop and implement creative strategies and design concepts aligned with the companys vision and goals.

-Process Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end design process from concept to execution, ensuring consistency and innovation.

-Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, engineering, and leadership teams to deliver effective design solutions.

-Quality Assurance: Ensure that all mechanical designs meet industry standards, optimize functionality, and maintain cost-effectiveness.

-Project Management: Manage multiple projects efficiently, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

-Expertise in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mechanical Design, and Machine Design

-Strong leadership and team management abilities

-Experience in the industrial equipment/machinery sector preferred

-Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively

-Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

-Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
