Role : L1 Onsite Support Engineer
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6 months to 1 years of experience in specifically supporting IBM Guardium installations/ trained in IBM Guardium
- Familiarity with the IBM Guardium architecture and its components, including Collectors, Aggregators, and Central Managers.
- Ability to monitor Guardium systems, respond to alerts, and escalate issues to higher-level support (L2) as needed.
- Experience with setting up and managing basic alerts for policy violations, system health, and data activity monitoring.
- Handling basic incidents related to Guardium, such as system outages or policy breaches.
- Logging incidents, tracking their progress, and ensuring proper documentation for follow-ups.
- Managing user accounts, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and managing access levels within the Guardium system.
- Performing initial troubleshooting for common issues, such as connectivity problems, basic policy misconfigurations, or user access issues.
- Conducting regular health checks of the Guardium environment, including checking for system updates, patches, and overall system performance.
- Basic understanding of data masking and encryption as it pertains to Guardium policies.
