Job Description
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated AOCS engineers(Junior/Senior) to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of GNC & Flight Dynamics for the next generation of satellites rolling out of India. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers to ensure the development of these complex systems.
Responsibilities :
Design and develop control and navigation algorithms for rendezvous and proximity operations in LEO/GEO
Build simulation models of relative sensors like cameras and lidar
Implement algorithms in MATLAB/C/C++/Python environment
Support Software and Hardware In Loop test beds for testing
Support definition of mission concept of operations
Coordinate with other subsystems to understand sensor & actuator requirements
Expected Skills :
Bachelors in Mechanical/Aerospace/Electrical engineering fields
In depth knowledge of spacecraft attitude dynamics and orbital mechanics
Basic knowledge of sensors and actuators used for small satellites ADCS
Experience with basic control algorithms like PID
Familiarity with flight dynamics tools like STK/GMAT
Can do attitude to solve problems and take ownership of products
Comfortable working with both hardware and software
Desired Skills :
Advanced degree in engineering or science (Masters/PhD)
Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills, balancing multifaceted requirements, assessing risks, and making informed design and development decisions
Familiar with basics of embedded system and protocols like SPI/CAN/RS422 etc.
Experience in building GUIs for faster visualization using open source tools
Experience in supporting Assembly, Integration & Testing(AIT) of satellites
