General Manager- (Production, Planning and Control)
Job Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled professional to lead the PPC department as a General Manager (GM).
- The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a disciplined approach to process execution, and in-depth knowledge of analysing Capacity vs Plan vs Actual performance.
- This position requires a strategic leader who can manage and optimize production schedules, ensure resource efficiency, and drive continuous improvements in the production planning and control processes.
- Ability to manage and oversee operations across 4-5 internal departments, each linked to the next, ensuring smooth coordination from the initial stages of production to the final product delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the PPC department, overseeing the planning, execution, and control of production processes.
- Develop and implement production schedules that align with business goals and meet customer demand.
- Analyze Capacity vs Plan vs Actual data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions to meet production targets.
- Maintain strong control over production resources, ensuring that output meets planned schedules while optimizing costs and efficiency.
- Exhibit strong negotiation skills with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure the best terms and performance.
- Maintain string discipline in planning and execution, ensuring that schedules and processes are strictly followed to meet delivery commitments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, procurement, and logistics teams to align production plans with overall business objectives.
- Oversee inventory management to ensure the right stock levels are maintained for efficient production flow.
- Implement improvements in production planning processes to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
- Develop and lead a high-performing team, providing training, mentorship, and feedback to PPC professionals.
- Continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and production metrics to ensure alignment with goals.
- Address production-related challenges promptly and work toward long-term solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in production planning and control, with at least 5 years in a leadership or GM role.
- Proven experience in Capacity vs Plan vs Actual analysis and taking corrective action to ensure optimal production efficiency.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with a focus on team performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with SAP systems, MS EXCEL and production planning tools is a plus.

- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build strong internal stakeholders discipline.
- A disciplined approach to process execution and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
