Senior Design Engineer- PEB

Position: Senior/Lead Structural Engineer

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Masters degree in Structural Engineering or Bachelor degree in civil/structural engineering
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in structural engineering, specifically with Pre-Engineered metal Buildings (PEB)
• In-depth knowledge of metal building structural design, load calculations, and stability analysis
• Understanding of structural analysis, frame calculations, and structural testing methodologies

Location: Offsite, Hybrid or Remote work
Notice period: Immediate to 30-day joiners are preferred.

Key responsibilities:

• Test and validate structural engineering calculations in building design software.
• Verify structural integrity and design compliance with American building codes, safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Develop and design structural components for pre-engineered buildings (PEB), low-rise Steel structures including steel frames, roofs, columns, and foundations.
• Perform/validate structural integrity to ensure the design comply with various loads, such as wind, seismic, and dead/live loads.
• Mandatory to have experience in structural steel design/analysis software like STAAD Pro
• Strong understanding of building codes (AISC, AWS), material properties
• Experience with the design of steel structures and connections, including knowledge of welding, bolting, and fabrication processes.
• Working experience in US Projects
