Job Title: L3 Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Network Architecture:
• Design, implement, and maintain complex network architectures, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Evaluate and recommend network technologies to meet organizational requirements.
2. Advanced Troubleshooting:
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and issue resolution for network-related problems.
• Analyze and resolve complex network incidents, outages, or performance issues.
3. Security Implementation:
• Implement and maintain robust security measures for network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
4. Network Optimization:
• Continuously optimize network performance, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Conduct performance monitoring and analysis to identify and address bottlenecks.
5. Capacity Planning:
• Perform capacity planning for network resources to support business growth.
• Propose and implement scaling strategies based on future requirements.
6. Vendor Collaboration:
• Work closely with vendors to evaluate new products, troubleshoot issues, and stay informed about product roadmaps.
• Manage relationships with technology partners and vendors.
7. Documentation:
• Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to the team.
8. Change Management:
• Implement network changes following established change management processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute changes with minimal impact.
9. Training and Knowledge Sharing:
• Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to junior team members.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
10. On-Call Support:
• Participate in an on-call rotation to address critical network issues outside regular business hours.
• Respond promptly to incidents and provide resolutions in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on advanced troubleshooting and architecture.
• Experience working in a Level 3 (L3) support role.
• Certifications:
• Relevant certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent.
• Certifications in network security (e.g., CISSP) are a plus.
• Technical Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, etc.).
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Experience with network virtualization technologies (e.g., SD-WAN, SDN).
• Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools.
• Communication Skills:
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information effectively.
• Problem-Solving Abilities:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex network issues.
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions.

• Experience managing and implementing network projects from conception to completion
