Job Description :

Designation : Senior Technical Consultant (D365POS).

Experience : 7+ Years.

Domain Experience : Retail.

Functional/Technical Skills :

- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce applications, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail MPOS and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail CPOS.

- Ability to apply Microsoft development techniques effectively following development best practices.

- Ability to plan and carry out unit testing.

- Knowledge of Microsoft .NET technology, Microsoft Visual Studio development system, and Azure DevOps Server.

- Ability to customize Commerce payment connectors.

- Ability to migrate Retail SDK to Commerce SDK.

- Ability to customize Retail POS using Commerce SDK.

Personal Characteristics and Required Background :

Minimum Experience :

- At least 7 years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail POS development experience.

- Demonstrated ability to apply Microsoft development techniques effectively following development best practices.

- Demonstrated ability to plan and carry out unit testing.

- Successful completion of applicable product certification exams.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement customizations and extensions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail MPOS and CPOS using the Commerce SDK.

- Migrate existing Retail SDK customizations to the Commerce SDK.

- Customize Commerce payment connectors to integrate with various payment gateways.

- Apply Microsoft development techniques effectively, adhering to best practices and coding standards.

- Plan and execute thorough unit testing to ensure the quality and stability of delivered solutions.

- Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to D365 POS implementations.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest D365 Commerce and Retail features and updates.

- Contribute to the development of best practices and knowledge sharing within the team.

- Work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.

- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
