Location : Chennai / Bangalore
Relevant Experience : 2 10 years
Software Applications Expertise : Yardi Voyager (Mandatory), Entrata, and Real Page
Qualification : B.Com / M.Com / MBA / CA Semi Qualified / CMA Semi Qualified

Responsibilities:

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with senior management and various departments.

Advanced Excel skills are required.

Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and practices.

Analyzing data to support business decision-making.

An analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude

Managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

Oversee external and internal audits.

Ensuring all company accounts are accurately reconciled.

Financial statement preparation.

Bank reconciliation activities.

Excellent in AR, AP & GL Tie-out.

Excel sub-activity:

1. Journal Entries Allocation in Excel.
2. Accruals, Amortization & Depreciation calculations.
3. Advanced excel formulas.

Property & Real Estate Accountant added advantage.

Responsible for posting recurring monthly charges, direct bill-backs to tenants and audit variances.

Responsible for invoicing the properties routine billings, such as management fees, LLC Renewals, payroll, and other items paid by manager on behalf of properties, as well as monthly reconciliation of the billing clearing account.

Rent Statements to be submitted to tenants via Yardi by the 15th of each month & then weekly until paid.

Submit an updated rent statement if underpaid or miscellaneous charges are posted.

Responsible for checking banks for accurately posting rent payments daily and apply/post receivables in Yardi instantly. Set up alerts so you receive notifications when payments come in to minimize workload.

Review aging accounts, uncleared checks, delinquencies, and explain balances and follow up and report weekly.

Process payable via Yardi and include supporting back up to ensures vendor accounts are in good standing. Request for electronic payables as needed.

Process online payment for taxes and insurance, or occasional vendors

Handle check runs.

Manage all vendor profiles and collect W9 and COIs when missing from vendor.

Ensure that all reimbursements to client, tenant, or vendors (Including internal reimbursements or distribution) are completed by the applicable deadline.
