Internal Auditor

Role & responsibilities :

• Understand the client business and review the Internal controls requirement. Identify key risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them.
• Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Monitor and report any weaknesses in internal control systems.
• Recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Responsible for audit planning and execution
• Manage and guide the teams of at least 10 people at different locations/ units with respect to their work allocation, assigning responsibility and maintaining harmony among the team at client's place.
• Review the required management deliverables of all the units and reporting them to the client. Discussion of audit reports with the management at every unit handled.
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports either on PPT, word or excel with findings, risks, and recommendations

Preferred candidate profile :

Educational Background: CA or equivalent qualification like Certified Internal auditor by IIA.

Experience: 2 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or compliance.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of internal auditing standards (e.g., IIA standards).
• Knowledge of financial reporting, risk assessment, and control frameworks.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, IFRS, GAAP).
• Proficiency in audit software and data analytics tools.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
