What will you do?
The purpose of the Business Development Manager role is to help the organization meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping us competitive and innovative.
You will be responsible for retaining and growing our current customers, maximizing new business sales potential and crafting sales plans You will be driving revenues by developing winning strategies to engage Client in a consultative manner, by positioning the solutions, capabilities, and IP of the organization.
You will establish a strong relationship based on knowledge of customer requirements and drive the sales process and outcomes on a dedicated basis, growing a profitable pipeline and/or backlog of sales, through deal origination, sales negotiations, and closure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client relationship management and new business development - managing relationships with key client personnel and ability to understand the organizational culture of the client.
- Achieve growth with existing customers.
- Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands our business across customers.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs;.
- Mobilize the organization to work towards solving your customer needs.
- Develop and present sales, revenue and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team;.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status;.
- Conduct research as well as competitor analysis to define strategies that can help enable favourable outcomes.
- There will be a support team for this.
- Review and create sales plan, pursuit plan / business pipeline with leadership to ensure target achievement and hunting new business.
- Conduct client presentations, workshops, and drive pricing and MSA negotiations with the client.
Key Qualifications:
- Track-record of successfully selling (hunting / farming) in the European region.
- 10+ years of experience in account management and development.
- Proven experience in digital solution selling.
- Proven experience in staff augmentation.
- Proven experience in handling mid to large enterprise customers.
- Experience of selling into Publishing, Medical and EdTech sector is a big plus.
- Achievements in meeting Sales Goals & Consultative Selling to Customer Needs;.
- Successful negotiation skills, with a commercial mindset;.
- Hands-on mentality, eager to take initiative new opportunities and deliver targets;.
- Shall be able to work with high degree of autonomy, but also a good team player.
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering; MBA is a big plus.
